Henrick decided to start our vacation in the Dolomites with the hardest possible ski tour he could find that wouldn't completely kill us, as Duncan and Emily would not be able to join on the following days. And so unbeknownst to the physical suffering that lay ahead, we embarked on the 1500m ascent to Hochebenkofel (▲2905m).
